These are examples of windows custom made for homes.
This series of windows and chandelier was for a Deity Lounge in Boerum Hill in Brooklyn, NY. The six windows face each other, and each window is 4 feet wide by 6 feet tall. The theme of the lounge is “Goddesses” and all aspects of the space are artist designed.
These are bathroom signs for the Devin Tavern in Tribeca, Manhattan. They are front lit, so I used opaque glass with a metallic finish to add glimmer.
This birdcage and long chandelier were used in the photo shoot for Feral Studio.
I have collaborated three times with Jessica Bonenfant (founder of Odonata Dance Project). These photos show: Etymology of a Person. I built the props and designed the set. The set involved a lit chandelier, fingerprint projection and battery powered lit objects on wheels for the dancers to interact with. All props were made from salvaged materials.
For this performance I made the costumes and designed the stage floor for the outdoor 2007 Fashion District Arts Festival in Manhattan.
This stove was used for Aspiration: Housewife, a dance performance at the Fringe Dance Festival in Manhattan.
We meet to discuss design and color. I will bring glass samples so we can get a sense of the variety of glass the world has to offer, and what would look best in your home. I prefer to use hand blown or high quality glass, because the end result with using these materials is noticeably different than most stained glass. I create a drawing based on our meeting. Once the drawing is approved, we move forward. Windows’ price range (on average) is $100-300/ square foot. The price is based on the intricacy of the design, the colors used and the size of the window.
