Susanna in her Studio

This video was taken over the period of about 3 or 4 months. I participated in an artist residency with "One Arm Red" in Brooklyn NY. I received a studio for free during this time and created an installation involving several sculptures, a mural and live sod.

Acavallo

This glass was created for Acavallo, an art project envisioned by Quill Hyde for Burning Man in 2007.

Launch

This is a collaboration between Susanna Conaway and Quill Hyde for the Decompression Party in Brooklyn NY. This sculpture is made with car parts, broken glass and stained glass. Quill created the pedestal and added a car battery to run the lights and turn the sculpture. The glass sculpture is called "Launch."

Breaking Glass

This was a collaboration between Susanna Conaway and Brandon Derman. A 3 foot glass circle was placed on the floor of the studio and a window weight from a pulley in the ceiling was dropped onto it. The fracture from the break was then soldered back together.
